Mary Bowen is an artist working in paint and print, rooted in observing and responding to her environment.

 

Based in her Dartmoor studio, she works increasingly on large-scale canvases,  using her knowledge of colour theory and years of printmaking experience to curate layers of colour, texture and intuitive mark-making. 

 

Her paintings become meditations on colour, memory, and our connection to place.
